Moorbad Harbach has been awarded the Austrian Hiking Seal of Quality as a hiking village since 2016 - and rightly so! The village has an attractive network of hiking trails, a wonderful landscape and certified accommodation for your hiking vacation. Around the natural monuments Nebelstein (1017m) and Mandelstein (874m) you will find around 100 km of well-marked hiking, Nordic walking and running trails, and from the viewing platforms you can enjoy the view far into the countryside. The Nebelstein is a meeting point for many national and international hiking and long-distance hiking trails.
Various themed trails, the Xundwärts-Parcours - "The joy of movement in the Motorikpark®" - in Hirschenwies and the Moorheilbad Harbach health center complete the offer for health-conscious people.
Nebelstein adventure hiking trail
The Nebelstein Adventure Hiking Trail is a circular hiking trail and offers three starting points with 6 different adventure stations. With an elevation gain of approx. 400 meters and a trail length of around 11 km, it can be completed in a maximum of 5 hours. The trail leads you through the densely wooded landscape to the Nebelstein, where you can enjoy the view far into the countryside from the summit, even as far as the Ötscher on clear days. Interesting rock formations invite you to take short breaks along the way. Information boards along the way will familiarize you with stories and legends from the area.

All three accommodations have undergone the qualification process to become certified hiking establishments and have been awarded the seal.
