My route to happiness

Make sure when choosing your route that it matches your fitness level. Check whether the restaurants you want to visit along the way are open. Pack your charged mobile phone and map material in a backpack.

Sturdy footwear, functional clothing, sun and rain protection, map material, possibly telescopic poles, first aid kit (blister plasters), sufficient supplies (snack, muesli bars, fruit, water)

The themed route starts at the Franz Himmer Congress and Event Center and leads through our beautiful Waldviertel landscape. About one third of the way, you can take a small detour to the "Stone Woman", a legendary granite block. There you also have the opportunity to grill. A nice picnic area with a grill station and a covered hut invites you to a cozy snack.

Back on the happiness route, you can look for 10 well-hidden horseshoes. Can you find them all?

The route offers entertainment and exercise equally for young and old!

The happiness route leads back through the village of Harbach to the starting point. A short visit to the parish church of Harbach is worthwhile!
