When summer temperatures in the city become unbearable, the Waldviertel climate around our tiny house offers a pleasant respite from the heat. It’s the ideal spot for a refreshing summer getaway. The surrounding area offers numerous recreational activities, such as hikes up the local mountains—Hirschenstein, Nebelstein, or Mandelstein—the Xundwärts Motoric Parcour, a natural swimming pond, the Kristallium Glass Experience World, numerous mountain bike trails, and much more.
Even in winter, the vacation home captivates with its enchanting snowy landscape and unique atmosphere at 800 meters above sea level. During this season, there are many activities in the area, such as a small ski lift, a cross-country ski trail, the Gmünd Salt-and-Rock Bath, or an alpaca hike.
